Kathleen Hustad


Kathleen Hustad is the founder of Bloom44, a narrative strategy consultancy for healthcare and purpose-driven brands.

A former journalist turned brand strategist, Kathleen is known for her ability to dig deep, ask the right questions, and uncover what truly sets an organization apart. She helps clients turn complex ideas into clear, compelling stories that resonate with customers, funders, and stakeholders.


She’s worked across the healthcare and financial services landscape—from health systems and mental health organizations to fintech startups and mission-led nonprofits—to help them stand out, build trust, and grow revenue with clarity.


For her, it’s about more than messaging.

When her clients grow, their solutions reach more people—improving care, expanding access, and creating real-world change. That ripple effect is what drives her.


 


DEI in the Workplace Certification Participants learned how building and growing a workforce that includes differing races, religions, ages, genders and sexual orientations, and persons with disabilities can not only improve broad society issues but can also help companies develop novel business practices, increase revenue, and improve performance.
